Jaime was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was also a member of Our Lady of Health Catholic church. Jaime de la Cruz, 70, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Jaime was born May 20, 1940, to Julian and Hilaria de la Cruz in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, Mexico. Jaime was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was also a member of Our Lady of Health Catholic church. Jaime is survived by his wife, Enedina de la Cruz; three sons Jaime Jr. (Patricia) of El Paso, TX; Julian (Wendy) of Abilene, KS; Juan (Elva) of Las Cruces, NM; three daughters Hortencia Valle (Miguel) of Phoenix, AZ; Maria de la Cruz ( Gregory Brinton) of San Tan Valley, AZ; Elva Matlack (Eric) of Heartland, MI and six grandchildren Julian Jr., Steven, Daniel, Matthew de la Cruz and Alexi and Carter Matlack. Visitation will be held at Getz Funeral Home from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. The funeral mass will be given at 10 am on Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church.
