Jaime L. Reyes Sr., of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Dona Ana, born on April 8, 1945 in Santo Tomas, New Mexico (Stahmann Farms), to the late Leonarada Lujan Reyes and the late Refugio G. Reyes, passed away at age 73 on May 9, 2018 in El Paso, Texas. He was a graduate of Las Cruces High School. Jaime L. Reyes Sr., of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Dona Ana, born on April 8, 1945 in Santo Tomas, New Mexico (Stahmann Farms), to the late Leonarada Lujan Reyes and the late Refugio G. Reyes, passed away at age 73 on May 9, 2018 in El Paso, Texas. He was a graduate of Las Cruces High School. He was in the Plumbing industry as a plumber at Glover Plumbing and retired from Gadsden Independent School District; later becoming self-employed and starting his own company Reyes Plumbing and Heating. Jaime was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Aurora Garcia and Rosemary Gamboa brother-in-law, Eddie Gamboa; nephew, Joel Fernandez; great-nephew, Joel Franco Fernandez. He is survived by his sons, Jaime Reyes, Jr. (Tracy), Jeffrey Reyes, and Jacob Cisneros; daughter, Jeannine Gonzales (Amy); brother, Arturo L. Reyes (Tina) of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and grandchildren, Alyssa Reyes, Isaac Cisneros, Chris Cisneros, and Erika Reyes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jaime loved softball/baseball. He was involved at American Legion, Moose Lodge, and VFW. Friends and family members may attend the visitation on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Newman Center, 2616 S. Solano, Las Cruces, there will be a rosary service from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. with the Funeral Liturgy immediately following at 10:30 am.
