James B. Jones Jr. 88, of Radium Springs, NM died Friday, March 25, 2005. He was born Jan. 21, 1917 in Jonesborough, TN to James and Callie Smith Jones. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served his country honorably during WW II, Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era. James was retired from the US Army and from the supply office at WSMR. James B. Jones Jr. 88, of Radium Springs, NM died Friday, March 25, 2005. He was born Jan. 21, 1917 in Jonesborough, TN to James and Callie Smith Jones. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served his country honorably during WW II, Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era. James was retired from the US Army and from the supply office at WSMR. He was also a member of the VFW. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his two sons Donald Jones; Stanley Jones and wife Bernice all of Las Cruces; five daughters, Janet Nieto and husband George; Susan Jones; Candy Esqueda and husband George all of Las Cruces; Pamela Eddleman and husband John of Silver City, NM and Tammy Martos of Tempe, AZ. James is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home where funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM.
