James Keoke Wong, 23, of Las Cruces died at home on Monday November 12, 2007. He was born on March 26, 1984 in Toccoa, Georgia to Ammon and Wanda Wong. James moved to Rohnert, California when he was eight and fondly considered it his hometown. He moved to Las Cruces with his family in 1999. James was a front team leader and general services manager at Hastings. James will be remembered as the all-around good guy- when he was around you couldn't not have a good time. James married Megan May White on January 14, 2006 at white Sands Missle Range, New Mexico. In July 2007 he fulfilled a life goal by visiting Hawaii, his family's homeland. On March 24, 2007 his daughter, Allyson Maylea Wong was born. James is survived by his wife, Megan Wong; a daughter, Allyson Wong; His parents, Ammon and Wanda Wong; his brother, Joshua Wong; grandparents, George and Retha Sears, and Margret Wong. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James K. Wong. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM November 16, 2007 at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Bodie Davis.
