James Lee Elisha Mulheron, age 76 passed away March 27, 2017, in Las Cruces, NM surrounded by family.He was born on April 1, 1940, in Philipsburg, PA to Alexander Frank Mulheron and Madeline Violet Greek. James (Jim) grew up in Osceola Mills, PA. He graduated from Osceola Mills High school in 1958 and immediately enlisted in the United States Army where he honorably served for 30 years before retiring from White Sands Missile Range, NM with the Rank of Sergeant Major in 1988. He was awarded the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal and many more. After retiring from the Army, he continued to serve his country as a civil servant at White Sands Missile Range in the Police and Security division. He was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing in Pennsylvania and the mountains in New Mexico. On April 7, 1961, he married his love, Betty Maria Schieder . This marital union lasted 55 beautiful years and resulted in 5 beloved children: Edward Michael Mulheron , Corinna Edda Bushnell, Eileen Michelle (John) Abbott, James Mark (Florence) Mulheron and Anthony John (Priscilla) Mulheron and numerous grand-children and great grand-children who loved him dearly. He is also very loved and survived by his only sister, Sharon (Steve) Pagano of Port Matilda, PA. James is proceeded in death by his parents and his beloved " Gman ." He will be cremated and interred at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with the highest honors on April 10, 2017, at 10 am. Friends/Family and anyone influenced by James are invited to attend services.
