James Neal Smith

James Neal Smith, 56, of Radium Springs, NM passed away on Monday, March 25, 2008. He was born September 27, 1951 in Memphis, TN to James M. and Cordie H. Smith. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served his country honorably from 1970-1973. He was also a self-employed Master Carpenter, well known for his creativity and professionalism. Neal was a loving father, a caring son and a loyal and steadfast friend who will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his son, Zachary L. Smith and his mother, Cordie Smith both of Las Cruces; sister, Kate Christopher and husband Dave of Little Rock, Arkansas; brother, Chuck Smith and wife Cheryl of Bourne, TX. Neal was preceded in death by his father, James M. Smith, his brother, Glenn M. Smith and Glenn's daughter, Teresa Dawn Smith. Memorial Service's to celebrate his life will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 28, 2008 at Masonic Cemetery, 760 Compress Rd. Fr. Scott Ruthven of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church will be officiating.
