James W. Livingston, 77, of Las Cruces, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010. Jim as he was fondly known was born Feb. 10, 1933 in Thompson, PA to William and Mariam Burchill Livingston. He was a veteran of the US Air Force where he served our country honorably. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, bowling but his passion was for model airplanes. He also volunteered a lot of his time to the Mickey Mantle Baseball League and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Pat Livingston of the family home; two sons Bill and Jim Livingston of Las Cruces and by his daughter Debra Ann Champion of Ashville, N.C; brothers Herb and Larry Livingston; two grandchildren Jonathan and Tiffany and one great-grandchild on the way. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at Getz Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, 299 E.
