Jan Molina, 53, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday August 25, 2009. She was born July 30, 1956, in Austell, GA, to Edwin and Lucille McKenney. Some of her many hobbies included, reading, cooking, listening to country music and oldies, and welcoming many others into her home, but her true passion was her enormous love for her beautiful granddaughter. Jan Molina, 53, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday August 25, 2009. She was born July 30, 1956, in Austell, GA, to Edwin and Lucille McKenney. Some of her many hobbies included, reading, cooking, listening to country music and oldies, and welcoming many others into her home, but her true passion was her enormous love for her beautiful granddaughter. Jan is survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, Fred Molina, son Steven Molina, daughter, Christy Molina, all of Las Cruces, two sisters, Melissa Jones and husband Danny, of Powder Springs, GA, Carol Sanders and husband Doug, of Marietta, SC, and one granddaughter Alexis Briseno, of Las Cruces. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009, from 5-7PM at Getz Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10AM on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made, in Jan's name, to Mesilla Valley Hospice located at 299 E. Montana Ave., Las Cruces, NM 88005. Pallbearers will be, Fred and Steven Molina, Matt Lowe, Roy Granado, Danny Jones and Doug Sanders. Honorary Pallbearer will be Josh Molina. PDF Printable Version
