Jane Denise Hall, 77, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009. She was born Feb. 4, 1932 in Nebraska to Murray and Lona Smith. She was an avid collector of figurines, a wonderful cook who always shared whatever she cooked, especially sweets with the entire community. Jane Denise Hall, 77, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009. She was born Feb. 4, 1932 in Nebraska to Murray and Lona Smith. She was an avid collector of figurines, a wonderful cook who always shared whatever she cooked, especially sweets with the entire community. Jane had also been a member of the Methodist community all of her life. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son Mike Hall and wife Rhonna of Las Cruces; brother David Smith of California; sisters Joan Reeves and Vicki Brewster both of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren Travis and Dustin Hall, Audra Ellis and Gretta Poole; great-grandson Elijah Hall; son-in-law Jerry Poole and by 5 nieces and 6 nephews. Her daughter Cynthia D. Poole, sister Patricia Smith and brother Murray Smith and her first husband Robert Hall preceded Jane in death. Family Services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the home of Joan Reeves, 4504 Mountain RD, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
