In death she rejoins her husband, Walter Carroll Emerick, whom she met in Perryton, Texas, and whom she ended up eloping with due to a snowstorm. She loved the arts and to paint, mostly in watercolor. Even though told by an art teacher she had no talent, she kept it up to become an amateur painter and participated in numerous art exhibits. She made candles, painted Christmas and Birthday cards for friends and relatives, and taught the children in the family how to paint and express themselves with art. Wife, mother, grandmother, family member, neighbor, teacher, and friend₦rest in eternal peace. She leaves behind a daughter, Emily Emerick; son, David Emerick; son, Jon Emerick, and wife Norma; granddaughter, Michelle Emerick.
