Baby Jason Blake Gutierrez, son to Alexia and Angelo Gutierrez and brother to Jaiden Bentley Gutierrez, was born on June 8, 2017, at Mountain View Reginal Medical Center, in Las Cruces NM, and was granted his angel wings on October 2, 2017. He is survived by his parent's, Alexia and Angelo Gutierrez; maternal grandparents, Martha & Martin Romero, paternal grandparents; Joann & Orlando Ortiz, maternal great-grandparents; Juanita and J. Guadalupe Rodriguez. Jason Blake was the answer to his parent's prayers, and they waited for his birth with joyful expectation. During his brief visit on earth, he enjoyed the sound of music, cuddling with soft toys, and being held close by his parents and grandparents. He was loved by all who met him and will be greatly missed. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Getz Funeral Home from 5 pm to 7 pm, with a prayer vigil to follow at 7 pm. A mass of the angels will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, with burial to follow immediately at Masonic Cemetery. Jason's parents would like to say a special thank you to Brianna and Becky for their Biscocho fundraising, Irish Football for their bake sale donations, Cristine Maese for her Beef Jerky fundraising donations, Santa Fe Grill for donating food, and all the many other family and friends that helped during our time of need.
