Jean Benavidez passed away at home on October 24th, 2017 at the age of 78. She is survived by her 9 brothers and sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents Fidel and Lydia Benavidez, of Las Cruces, son, Ruben Bustos and daughter Laurie Putnam. Jean was born February 12th, 1939 in Mesilla, NM. She worked at Memorial Medical Center, She was Mother to Gloria Padilla (husband Mike Padilla), Frank Bustos(wife Molly Bustos), Terri Trujillo ( husband Lalo Trujillo), Richard Benavidez (wife Luisa Benavidez), Joani Gardner (husband Henry M. Gardner). She had 52 Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. Jean loved her children, grandchildren and dedicated all her time and love to all of them, she loved her Gardening and had great devotion to her church.
