Jean Natalie Pintar was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 21, 1932, to William and Henrietta Parkins (deceased). She was one of six children, she had four brothers and one sister. Jean Pintar died at her home in Las Cruces, New Mexico on February 19, 2021. Jean Pintar was first married to George King and was a devoted mother to her children, Alan King of Montgomery Illinois, Larraine King of Sun City, Arizona, Scott King of Springfield Illinois (deceased), William King of Springfield, Illinois (deceased). After her divorce from George King she remarried George Pintar on October 11, 1971. After her divorce she often had to work two jobs to support her children. After her marriage to George Pintar, Jean lived in Divernon, Illinois; Springfield, Illinois; Gerard, Illinois; Chatham, Illinois; Deming New Mexico and Las cruces, New Mexico. Jean received her associate degree in childhood education from Lincoln Land Community College in 1985. She co -authored several children's books and enjoyed being a substitute teacher with Deming Public Schools. Jean Natalie Pintar carried her faith in God all her days. She worshipped in several churches, including the Lutheran Presbyterian, Baptist, and Nazarene. Her trust in the almighty was east to recognize. Jean was a loving wife and had a sense of humor and quick wit that astounded her friends. Jeans passing will leave a large void in those that she left behind, her husband of nearly 50 years George Pintar, her son Alan King and wife Lauretta, Daughter Lorraine King, sister Alice Creagon and brother Richard Parkins. Mary Holguin who provided tender loving care and understanding for over ten years. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss her warm touch. A Memorial Service is schedule for Friday, March 12, 2021 beginning at 2:00 pm. The service can be livestreamed at Getzcares.com.
