Jeanelle Jonz, 78 of Las Cruces, New Mexico entered eternal life on Monday February 9, 2010 with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 11, 1931 in Midland, Texas to David "Tot" and Corene Watlington. Jeanelle was a kind spirited person and a friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed reading books and time relaxing listening to music. Her greatest passion was her family. Jeanelle will be deeply missed by all who knew and love her. She is survived by her husband of 50 years John Jonz of the family home, daughter Vickie and husband Steve Laughlin of Las Cruces, NM; son David Redford of Las Cruces, NM; brother David E. Watlington and wife Susie of Midland, TX; sister Jo Ann Livingston of Megargel, TX; grandchildren Nathan and Natalie Redford of Ft. Smith, AR and Michelle and husband Steve Cottrell of Ft. Worth, TX. Her parents preceded her in death. A visitation will be held on Monday February 15, 2010 at Getz Funeral Home from 5-7 PM. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday February 16, 2010 also at Getz Funeral Home. Burial will follow place at Ft. Bayard National Cemetery in Ft. Bayard, NM at 2 PM.
