Jeffery D. Rossi II, 44 of Las Cruces, NM died Saturday July 3, 2010 at his home. He was born on July 7, 1965 in Tacoma, WA to Jeffrey and Marilyn Rossi. Jeffery D. Rossi II, 44 of Las Cruces, NM died Saturday July 3, 2010 at his home. He was born on July 7, 1965 in Tacoma, WA to Jeffrey and Marilyn Rossi. Jeffery graduated from Clover Park High School in Lakewood, WA after which he married his high school sweet heart, Beverly Safko and joined the United States Army. During his service with the Army, Jeffery achieved the rank of Sergeant and was assigned to President Ronald Reagan's Explosive Ordnance Advance Party Team specializing in Nuclear Explosives. His job was to go to an event and search for explosives days before the President would arrive. In 1990 Jeffery and his family moved to Las Cruces, NM. Jeffery was a Carpenter by trade, he enjoyed reading, and a loving father. He is survived by his wife Beverly Rossi and daughter Ashley Rossi of the family home, his mom Marilyn Miron and husband Edward of Oconto Falls, WI, brother Anthony Preman and wife Julie of Milwaukee, WI, nephews Jordan, Austin, and Christopher Preman and niece Abigail Preman. Jeffery was preceded in death by his father Jeffrey Rossi in April 2002. A visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Sunday July 11, 2010 at Getz Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday July 12, 2010 at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. PDF Printable Version
