Jeffery L. Harrison was born December 22, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas and passed away Tuesday April 22, 2008, at his home in Las Cruces, NM. He has lived in Las Cruces since 1987. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War with the Navy Seabees. He received his Bachelors Degree from Fort Hays State University and his Master Degree from Kansas State University. He is survived by his wife Kathy, and his daughter Rebecca, both of Las Cruces, and his son, Justin, daughter-in-law, Shanita, and his very special grandsons, Peyton and Aiden of Albuquerque, and his two brothers, Greg and Brian, and their families. Jeff was a kind and loving man. He enjoyed his work in the banking business for twenty-five years. His passions included his family, friends, and golf. You could always count on him to make you laugh. He was loved and will be missed very much. We want to thank you, Daddy, for all the things you ever did for us. A visitation will be held from 5-7 on Sunday April 27, 2008 with a prayer vigil to follow at 7 p.m. the same evening at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow the services. Officiating will be Fr. Ray Flores.
