Born May 13,1931 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters and family on October 11,2017. Our hearts are heavy and saddened with the passing of our loving mother Jennie G. Quinones at the age of 86. Born May 13,1931 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters and family on October 11,2017. She was a long-time resident of Dona Ana Village and a pillar of the community, a dedicated employee of Fletcher Farms for 35 years. A faithful parishioner of Our lady of Purification Church. Always willing to lend a helpful hand and was a volunteer at the Dona Ana Community Center. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, a friend to many and loved by all young and old. She is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 52 years Jose B. Quinones, son in laws Norman L Venable and Abraham Perea, her parents Teresa and Inez Giron. She is survived by her seven daughters: Connie Quinones, Angie Giron, Annabell Oquendo and companion Mark Vrba, Jenny R Quinones, Hope Quinones, Patty Perea and companion Ray Prince, and Mishelle Quinones, as well as her 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Carrying pallbearers are grandsons and granddaughter Jose L. Giron, Eric J. Parra, Melanie M. Venable, Eddie A. Oquendo, Louie Polanco III, and Chris J. Gonzales Jr. Accompanied by honorary pallbearers Diego Banegas, Robert Quinones and Martin Giron Jr. Viewing will be held on Friday October 20,2017 from 6-7pm rosary to follow and be recited by officiant Manuel Madrid at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral will be held on Saturday October 21,2017 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Purification with Father Juan Camillo Montoya, 5525 Cristo Rey in Dona Ana, Rite of committal to follow at the Dona Ana cemetery
