Jennifer was born in Lake City, Iowa on July 12, 1954, to Donald Nelson and Bernice Irlbeck. She was a nurse at Memorial Medical Center for 42 years when she retired in 2016. Jennifer was born in Lake City, Iowa on July 12, 1954, to Donald Nelson and Bernice Irlbeck. She was a nurse at Memorial Medical Center for 42 years when she retired in 2016. She is survived by her loving husband Robert McCoy, daughter Tamarah Shubin, 4 grandchildren Zoe Montoya, Tyler Montoya, Lola Shubin, and Callum Shubin, Brother Keith Nelson, her nieces Megan Nelson and Kristin Zaidman. A Rosary will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 9:30 am at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church with funeral liturgy immediately following. In lieu of flowers the family requests to make donations in her name to Hospice and Safe Haven. Service Information
