Jerry A. Mark, 71, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006. He was born Feb. 7, 1935 in Burlington, Kansas to Harry and Margret Mark. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict. Jerry A. Mark, 71, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006. He was born Feb. 7, 1935 in Burlington, Kansas to Harry and Margret Mark. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict. While serving in the armed services he was awarded National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. He was also retired from WSMR after 40 years of faithful service. Jerry was a life member of D.A.V. Post 10, Charter member VFW # 10124, Past President and life member of the Sheriffs Posse and Past President of the Anthony Rodeo Club. Jerry was also an avid horseman and very involved with the Las Cruces Horseman's Association. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends who knew and loved him. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Eusebia of the family home. Daughters Julie M Gale and husband Kenneth and Marilyn Mark. Son Raymond George. Brothers Jack Coble and wife Jackie and Terry Coble and wife Nancy. Sister Wanda Mark. Granddaughters Tammi Maese and husband Phillip, Cheyenne Gale, Karla Ricalday and husband Ricardo and Jeremy Channell. Great-grandchildren Kendra, Lauryn, Hayle Maese, Adrian and Jonathan Ricalday. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Geraldine Quiggle. Graveside Services are at 10:00 AM on Saturday Feb.11, 2006 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers are Phillip Maese, Michael Martinez, Jerry Acosta, Jeremy Channell, Gabriel Barron and Juan Colquitt. PDF Printable Version
