Jerry Allen Holsome, Sr. passed away at the age of 69 on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 in his hometown of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Born on June 11th, 1952, to the late Samuel V. and Orlean (Ramzy) Holsome, he was the second youngest of seven children who grew to adulthood.

Jerry Allen Holsome, Sr. passed away at the age of 69 on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 in his hometown of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Born on June 11th, 1952, to the late Samuel V. and Orlean (Ramzy) Holsome, he was the second youngest of seven children who grew to adulthood.
Jerry attended Mayfield High School and graduated in 1970. He'd go on to live in Fort Ord, California for a few years where he managed a Safeway. He would love to ride with his motorcycle club, The Night Riders in Seaside, CA & occasionally, he'd travel to San Jose to ride with a good friend that was a member of the Hell's Angels.
In the late 1980's, he started doing landscaping jobs with his nephew, Ray Collins, Sr. When Ray started his own landscaping business, Jerry would go to work for him many years. Always a lover of plants and blessed with a green thumb, his completed jobs were something to admire.
Cherished by many, Jerry loved soul music and was quite gifted with his artwork. He was an endearing character that you could converse with for hours effortlessly and there was always plenty of laughter to be had. All who knew him will miss him dearly.

He leaves to mourn: Jennifer L. Holsome, his daughter, who lives in Las Cruces; his son, Jerry A. Holsome, Jr., who lives in Las Cruces; three sisters, those being Kathleen Holsome-Sellers of Las Cruces, Betty Holsome-Fielder of Queen Creek Arizona, and Yvonne Holsome-Taylor of Temple, Texas and 3 grandchildren.
Those beloved grandchildren are: Adonis Rey Negron, Sevon Vicente Negron & Giana Alizayh Holsome.
In addition, a vast multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will treasure his memory.
