Jessie was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM where he was a 16-year veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a hard worker who held jobs at White Sands, NMSU and Memorial Medical Center from which he retired as an OR technician many years ago. He enjoyed his retirement by maintaining the home and the yard he shared with Lillian. He took great care in making sure their vehicles were always clean and running at their best, which he used to take his kids and nephews to and from school for many years. If anyone in the family needed a babysitter or their vehicle cleaned, he was always willing to offer his help. Jessie will be greatly missed for years to come and remembered as an avid Dallas Cowboys fan with neatly pressed jeans, cowboy boots, button down shirt and well-maintained hair and mustache.

Services for Jessie will be held at Getz Funeral home on Thursday, February 9, 2023 beginning at 5:00 pm for the viewing and rosary to follow at 6:00 pm. His Eternal life will be celebrated Friday, February 10, 2023 beginning at 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where he was a member, with the burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with full Military honors to follow immediately after the mass. Serving as pallbearers will be his son, Caesar, his nephews, Eric Escobar, Patrick Flores, Andrew Flores, Fabian Lopez and Josh Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be his daughter, Monica, his granddaughters, Amariss and Alaia, his son Toby, the remaining nieces and nephews and Tony Sanchez.
