Jimmy Guzman

Jimmy Guzman passed away on Thursday February 23, 2012 at La Posada, Mesilla Valley Hospice surrounded by his family. Jimmy was Born June 9, 1940 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Delfina Baca and Jesus Guzman. He worked and retired as a custodian for the LCPS. He also attended NMSU. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Cristina Guzman, Daughter Vanessa Guzman Roybal and Husband Larry, His only son Noah Guzman and Wife Leticia, Daughter Debi Guzman Gonzales and Husband David. Grandchildren C. Joshua Munoz and wife Amanda, Andrea Munoz, Aaron Roybal, Julian Guzman, Melyssa Guzman, Debbie Gonzales, Derek Gonzales, David Jacob Gonzales, Great Grandchildren Elijah Munoz, Illianna Munoz, Gloria Chavez-Guzman all of Las Cruces. He is also survived by Brothers Mike Guzman and Wife Gloria of Las Cruces, Joe Guzman of Truth or Consequences, Sisters Josie Silva, Helen Ramirez of Las Cruces and Dolores Lovato of Albuquerque. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his Brother Rosalio "Chale" Baca. Memorial Services to celebrate his life will be at 12 noon on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at St. Genevieve's Church with Fr. Don Adamski officiating. The US Army will provide military honors.
