Jimmy Howard Putman

Jimmy Howard Putman, 60 of Las Cruces, NM died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Mesilla Valley Hospice - La Posada. Jimmy was born September 29, 1947 in Loving, New Mexico to John and Norma Putman. He was a resident of Las Cruces since 1971 and was a property manager with E & H Properties. An avid motorcyclist, Jimmy was a God caring and faithful man. He was a generous man who had an abiding faith in God and took care of his ministries. All who knew and loved him will dearly miss Jimmy. Jimmy is survived by two sons, Travis Parker of Las Cruces, NM and Steven Putman of Campobello, SC. One brother Daniel Sampson and wife Marsha of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and two sisters, Barbara Bynum of Belleville, Ill and Carol Darnell and husband, Wayne of Clarksville, TN. Also surviving Jimmy are three grandchildren, Emily, Courtney, and Gabrielle. His parents John and Norma Putman preceded Jimmy in death. At Jimmy's request, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel.
