Joan Erickson, age 72, of Las Cruces entered eternal life on July 10, 2005, joining her late husband, Glenn Erickson. She was born on June 5, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was a devoted wife and mother who took pleasure in her time with her family. Joan Erickson, age 72, of Las Cruces entered eternal life on July 10, 2005, joining her late husband, Glenn Erickson. She was born on June 5, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was a devoted wife and mother who took pleasure in her time with her family. Survivors include her sons, Mark Erickson and wife Cathy of Irvine, California, and Paul Erickson and wife Cindy of Las Cruces, and daughter Lisa Jenkins and husband Phil of Alice Springs, Australia. Other survivors include her brother Jim Primus and wife Jean and eight grandchildren Ernie, Chris, Alexander, Jacqueline, Kaitlin, Eric, Abby, and Mike, one great-grandchild Ernie, as well as uncles, aunts, nephews, and cousins across the world. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Fritz and Rose Primus, and one grandchild, Amanda. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, July 14, 2005 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Alan Granger officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in memory of Joan Erickson be made to the Pediatric Prosthetics Department Attn: Diane Kelly, UNM Carrie Tingley Hospital, 1127 University Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102-1715.
