Joanne Sevenbergen

Joanne Sevenbergen( nee Polonkay) 81 years young. Grama 7 of Las Cruces New Mexico entered eternal life on January 6th, 2022, in Las Cruces New Mexico.



Joanne was born in Martins Ferry West Virginia on December 22, 1940; she was brought into this world by Joe and Lona Polonkay who preceded her in death. Joanne's husband Robert C Sevenbergen preceded her by passing November 28, 2001. Joanne was a Ford Motor Company retiree and proud UAW worker. Joanne had a few hobbies to mention, she was amazing at the art of quilt making and most of the family has a piece of her art. Joanne was an overachiever when it came to cooking. She only knew how to cook food for a lot of people, so it was never surprising to see a table full of food, even if it was her and a friend sharing a meal together. Joanne was very strong in her Christian faith and welcomed the challenges to assist others in time of need or witnessing to a lost soul. Joanne is survived by three siblings, Joel (Linda) Polonkay of Carrollton, Georgia, Larry (Debi) Polonkay of Amherst, Ohio and Lonalyn (Jim) DeChant of Avon Lake, Ohio and her three sons, Michael (Tami) Mullins of LaGrange Ohio, Bryan (Shannon) Mullins of Middlefield, Ohio and David (Susan) Mullins of Las Cruces, New Mexico, four grandchildren; Melissa (Joseph) Dean of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Bryan Mullins of Fredricktown, Ohio, Nathan (Leandrea) Mullins of Henderson, Texas and Katelynn Mullins of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Six great grandchildren Mason, Mia, Micah, Max, Raelynn, and Skylar.



Services for Joanne will be a celebration of life at Las Cruces Elks club at 3000 Elks Drive in Las Cruces, NM on January 13th, 2022, at 6 PM. A celebration of life will take place in Ohio in Summer 2022.
