Joaquin Reyes entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at his home in Hatch (Placitas). Joaquin will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him. He was a man of few words but a very powerful individual with his actions. He was known for his passion and talent for music in his high school days. Joaquin moved to California right after graduation and made that his home for the next several years. He returned back home to Hatch to care for his mother. He was a loving and caring individual who enjoyed the little things in life. He is survived by 6 brothers and sisters Fernando Reyes, Elizabeth (Sugar) Gallegos, Rita Reyes, Teresa Trujillo, Ismael Reyes and Juan Reyes. Joaquin is preceded in death by his mother Mary Alice Torres, Brothers Louie and Benjamin Reyes and Sister Martha Reyes. We love you Brother and look forward to joining you one day. A funeral mass will be on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church in Hatch, NM. Rite of Committal will follow at Garden of Memories. PDF Printable Version
