Joe G. Alvarez, 69 of Winston, NM died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Thomason Hospital in El Paso, Texas. He was born November 18, 1937 in Fabens, TX to Isabel and Inez Alvarez. Joe was a retired mechanic and mobile home service tech, a member of the Dona Ana and Sierra County Sheriff Posse and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Joe G. Alvarez, 69 of Winston, NM died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Thomason Hospital in El Paso, Texas. He was born November 18, 1937 in Fabens, TX to Isabel and Inez Alvarez. Joe was a retired mechanic and mobile home service tech, a member of the Dona Ana and Sierra County Sheriff Posse and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He had also served his country honorably in the US Army and was a member of the Catholic Church. Joe is survived by his son, Joe Albert Alvarez, his wife Lorelei and their daughter Evangeline Inez Alvarez of Mesilla Park, NM; and one sister, Amelia Warfield of Oregon. At Joe's request cremation has taken place and a Memorial Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Fr.
