Johanna H. Jennings

Johanna H. Jennings entered eternal life on March 31, 2007. She was born on July 27, 1918 in Northern Germany. She graduated from Berlin University in 1940 with a degree in Physical Education. During the chaos of World War II, Johanna lost most of her family; and as a refugee she and her daughter Barbara Ann made it to the security in Munich, Germany. There she met her future husband, Sam Jennings, who was an officer in the US Army. They married and the three of them embarked on a life here in the U.S. Johanna will always be remembered for her strength of character, and an unfailing generosity. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter. She is survived by her grandchildren, Cruzita and Roberto Garcia, and son in law George M. Garcia.
