John G. Adcock, 67 of Las Cruces, NM died Monday, December 27, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born August 2, 1936 in Minden Louisiana to George and Mattie Lee Adcock. Mr. Adcock was a veteran of the US Army where he served his country honorably, and was also an educator in the school systems. John G. Adcock, 67 of Las Cruces, NM died Monday, December 27, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born August 2, 1936 in Minden Louisiana to George and Mattie Lee Adcock. Mr. Adcock was a veteran of the US Army where he served his country honorably, and was also an educator in the school systems. He is survived by his wife Dottie Adcock of the family home; sons Ken Adcock and his wife Cindy of Las Cruces and Charles Adcock and his wife Shannon of Allen, TX; brother Ray Adcock of Monroe, LA and by his four grandchildren Melissa, Shawn, Alyssa and Avery. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother Dr. George A. Adcock Jr. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services are at 10:00 AM Friday, Dec. 31, 2004 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Qualls officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
