John Howard Mosley was born on May 5, 1956, in El Paso, Texas and departed this life on October 11, 2014. He attended Houston Grade School and graduated from Burges High School in 1974. After graduating from NMSU with BS and MA degrees, he taught in the Mechanical Arts Department at DACC, and for the past twelve years he has been employed in a Garrison Environmental Compliance Branch at White Sands Missile Range as an air quality program manager. His hobbies included rock crawling, gourmet cooking, and anything mechanical. In his youth John became a born again Christian and was active in the youth department of Asbury Methodist Church in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his parents Barbara and Bill Mosley, his sister, Kathy Hamm ( Tom) of Tyler, Texas and nieces, Erin Calicutt (Mark) of Troop, Texas and Lauren Hamm of Las Cruces, New Mexico, cousin Jim Crall (Barbara) of Miralinda, California, and many other cousins and many good friends. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday October 16, 2014.
