Johnnie Ray Barnett, 72, of El Paso, TX died Sunday April 24, 2011. He was born Dec. 21, 1938 in Foster, OK to John and Bonnie Taylor Barnett. Johnnie Ray Barnett, 72, of El Paso, TX died Sunday April 24, 2011. He was born Dec. 21, 1938 in Foster, OK to John and Bonnie Taylor Barnett. He retired as a Supervisor with southern Union Gas Company after many years of faithful service. Jonnie was a member of the Montwood Church of Christ in El Paso, TX. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, traveling, working around the house but mostly being with his grandchildren. Mr. Barnett will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Barnett of the family home; daughters Laurie Barnett and companion Kendall Doyle of Radium, NM, Tammy Ruoff and husband Thomas of Sierra Vista, AZ and LaJuana Ringler and husband Jonathan of Lawton, OK. Brothers Weldon and Larry Barnett both of Roswell, NM; brother-in-law Elton Hamill Jr and wife Rachel of Green Valley, AZ; grandchildren Dusty Barnett, Sean Ruoff and wife Michelle and Mark Ruoff, Jonathan and Krystal Ringler; great-grandchildren Aydan and Cariline Ruoff. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday April 27, 2011 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate his life are at 10 am on Thursday April 28, 2011 also at Getz funeral Home.
