Johnny G. Limon, 76, of Mesilla, NM died Friday, Oct. 28, at home surrounded by his family. He was born Feb. 21, 1935 in Mesilla, NM. to Juan and Julietta Garcia Limon. He had been the owner-operator of Johnny Limon Construction, specializing in stucco work; he also was a member of the Basilica of San Albino. Johnny G. Limon, 76, of Mesilla, NM died Friday, Oct. 28, at home surrounded by his family. He was born Feb. 21, 1935 in Mesilla, NM. to Juan and Julietta Garcia Limon. He had been the owner-operator of Johnny Limon Construction, specializing in stucco work; he also was a member of the Basilica of San Albino. Johnny enjoyed the outdoors, playing golf and watching sports and the History Channel on T.V. and was very involved in community affairs. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Limon is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Marty Limon of the family home; his four children Larry Limon (Sandra) John Limon (Dave) Cindy Altamirano (Tim) and Annette Ortiz (Martin); brothers Armando Limon (Lorenza) and Gilbert Limon (Jennie); sister-in-law Socorro Limon all of Mesilla, NM. He is also survived by his grandchildren Michael, Ryan, Jackee and Martin John and by his great-grandchildren Kenton, Emma and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Johnny was preceded in death by a brother Robert and sister Corine. A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be held at 12:10 P.M. on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at the Basilica of San Albino with Fr.
