Jose Elias Franco Sr.

Jose E. Franco Sr., 82, of Las Cruces, NM died August 28, 2021. Jose was born March 20, 1939 in Meoqui, Chihuahua to Gilberto and Concepcion Franco. In 1964 he married Josefina Franco in Juarez, Mexico. He worked for over 60 years. Builders Block back in the 70's. As a field worker irrigator for 40+ years. (Simpson Farms, Styles Farms), and Walmart. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, lottery scratchers, and Mantanzas with Juan Morales He is survived by his children; Jesus Jose Franco (Sandra), Concepcion Franco (Jimmy Smith), Socorro Irene Morales (Raymundo), Jose Elias Franco (Nancy), Gabriel Franco (Dahlia). His brother Gilberto Franco and sister Ofelia Franco. Also surviving him are 15 Grandchildren, and 11 Great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Josefina Franco, brother Jesus Franco and sisters Guadalupe Franco, Michaela Martinez. Grandchildren Gabriel Franco Jr, Daniel Ray Franco. A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday September 08, 2021, at 1 PM with the Funeral Liturgy at 2PM at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
