Josephine Edith Skinner passed away on October 27th, 2016. She was 70. Jo, as she was known by many, was born on July 14, 1946 to Paul and Mildred Little in Lamar, CO. She graduated from Joliet West High School in Joliet, IL in 1964. In 1984, Jo and her family moved to New Mexico and settled in Las Cruces in 1986. Jo was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Franklin Little and Dick Little; and her sisters, Marjorie Christman and Bernice Bobo. She is survived by her husband, William Skinner; her brother, George Little; her sons, Charles Litherland, Michael Wood and Christopher Wood; and her daughter, Christina Ferguson. Cremation has been entrusted to Getz Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 4th, 2016 at 10:00am at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Las Cruces at 2000 South Solano Drive, Las Cruces, NM.
