Josephine R. Talamantes, age 82, a longtime resident of Fairacres, NM went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 4, 1929, was a homemaker and a member of St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. She had great love and affection for her family and touched countless lives with her love. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernardo B. Talamantes, her parents Juan F. Rincon and Gregoria N. Rincon, her son Bernie R. Talamates and two brothers Juan and Jesus Rincon and also by her best friend Chavela T. Astorga. Josehpine is survived by her daughters, Corina T. Carrillo (Robert), Angie Melendrez (Lawrence), and Susie Hernandez (Hector) and her sons Raymond R. Talamates (Pat), Joe R. Talamantes (Margaret), Robert R. Talamantes (Loli), brother Alfonso Rincon (Mary) of Indio, CA, sisters Fransisca R. Rodriguez and Ramon R. Chavez (Julian). A visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 8 to 9:30 am at Getz Funeral Home Chapel. The prayer vigil will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. The funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2012 at St. Genevieve's Catholic church with Fr. Juan Moreno officiating. Rite of Committal will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
