Joy M Flores

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, and sister Joy Marie Flores. She was only 21 and has gone to be with her Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 13, 2011. Joy was born on August 10, 1989, in Stockton, CA to Esequiel and Donna Flores. She graduated from Mayfield High School in 2007, and was currently attending Dona Ana Community College, pursuing her dream to become a nurse. Joy got pleasure from helping out the less fortunate, whether it be a stray cat, a dog, a friend or a stranger. She believed in giving of herself for the betterment of others, including donating her organs to those in need to help them live a more fulfilled life. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, and making them laugh. Some of her hobbies included BMX bike riding, playing the guitar, hiking, and hanging out with her friends. Joy is survived by her parents, Esequiel and Donna Flores, her sisters, Elizabeth, Esther, Cristal, and Sarah Flores, her brothers, Ezekiel Jr., Joshua and John Flores, and her grandmother Barbara Buffington, all of Las Cruces. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends and colleagues. She will truly be missed. Visitation will be Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 5:00
