Joycelle was born on September 26, 1931 in Jamaica, New York to William and Edna ( Thayer) Gmaehle. Joycelle Clara Gibian, 80, of Las Cruces, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Casa Del Sol Senior Care Center. Joycelle was born on September 26, 1931 in Jamaica, New York to William and Edna ( Thayer) Gmaehle. She attended Elmont Rd Grade School; Belmont Blvd. Jr High School and Sewanhaka High School in New York. She married Robert W. Gibian on April 15, 1951 in Long Island, New York and enjoyed being a homemaker. Joycelle and Robert made Las Cruces their home for the past 32 years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Joycelle is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert, and one daughter Deborah S. Muzio (Miles) of Telachapi, California; Two Grandchildren Aaron and Micah Muzio also of Telachapi, California. A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Randall Partin of University United Methodist Church officiating.
