Juan Holder, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024, in Las Cruces New Mexico surrounded by family. He was born December 1, 1932, in Newberry South Carolina to George Elwell Holder and Nellie May Holder.

Juan Holder, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024, in Las Cruces New Mexico surrounded by family. He was born December 1, 1932, in Newberry South Carolina to George Elwell Holder and Nellie May Holder.
Juan worked and was part owner of the Diagnostic Center in Las Cruces. He was service manager of the Shamrock on Valley Dr and Brown RD. Juan then opened his own shop; Holders Automotive on Picacho Ave. Juan was an amazing mechanic who passed on his legacy to anyone willing to learn. He was a race car driver at Mesilla Valley Raceway and a member of the Eagles Local 4159 club. Juan was loved by everyone who knew him.
Juan is survived by his wife Nita Holder, Daughters Donna Juan Holder, JoAnne, Diane, and Betty Ann Berry, Sons George (Ricky) and Tim Holder as well as an abundance of grandkids and great grandkids. He was received in heaven by Betty Holder, his son Terry Holder, his granddaughter, and his parents.
Services will be held at Getz Funeral Home on Thursday April 11, 2024, at 10:00 am to the public.
