Julia Bonestroo

Julia Bonestroo, 81 of Anthony, NM died Friday, September 3, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born January 26, 1929 in Nunspeet, Holland to Garrett and Ava Lene Van Olst. Julia and her late husband, Lambert who preceded her in death in 2008, came to the United States in 1962 and started Dairy farming in California. Moving to New Mexico, she had resided in here for the last 29 years. Julia is survived by two sons, Gary Bonestroo and wife Wendy; Bruce Bonestroo and wife Tanya; eight grandchildren, Gage, Tara Gavin Lexy, Jayne, Julia, Joseph and Jan; and two great grandchildren, Ava and Brea. Also surviving her are two sisters, Francene Van Pykeren and Tina Zyrstra and two brothers, Martin Van Olst and Wim Van Olst. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at University Presbyterian Church, 2010 Wisconsin Ave. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery.
