Kay Simpson, 56, of Las Cruces, died Thursday June 7, 2007. She was born on January 10, 1951, to Clarence and Inez Hunter. Kay had a true love for books, becoming a Library Support Specialist, at the NMSU Branson Library. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Kay Simpson, 56, of Las Cruces, died Thursday June 7, 2007. She was born on January 10, 1951, to Clarence and Inez Hunter. Kay had a true love for books, becoming a Library Support Specialist, at the NMSU Branson Library. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her beloved husband Frank Simpson, of the family home, two daughters, Wendy Simpson, of Las Cruces, Stephanie Simpson, of Las Cruces, parents, Clarence and Inez Hunter, one brother, Keith Hunter and wife Bea, of Las Cruces, and two grandchildren, Isabel Lopez and Olivia Lopez. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made, in Kay's honor, to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm, Thursday, June 14, 2007 at University United Methodist Church, located at 2000 S Locust St, Las Cruces, NM 88001. Pastor David Jones officiating.
