Kimberly Kay Duncan; a daughter, sister, mother, dog mom, grandmother, business owner and friend, tragically passed at 48 years old on Sunday, September 18, 2022 in Las Cruces, NM.

Kimberly is survived by her parents, her brother Jeff Duncan, her 4 children; Kurtis Duncan (30), Kelsy Horstmeier (27), Gabriella Cano (20), and Trent Middleton (18), her 3 step children; Caleigh Yacone (24), Chelsi Yacone (22), and Nickolas Yacone (21), and her 2 grandchildren; Avalynn Bland and Olivia Kay Cano.

Kimberly was born December 30, 1973 in Las Vegas, NV. to Mike Duncan and Connie Cornelius. She went to high school at Francis Howell North in St. Charles, MO. and graduated with the class of 1991. She later attended an online college in 2008 and received an associates degree in Nutrition. She practiced and participated in bodybuilding competitions from 2009-2012 while being a personal trainer in Buffalo, NY. In 2013 she moved to Deming, NM and shortly after became a very successful co-owner of Forghedaboudit Pizza with her husband.

Kim was devoted to mending her family back together and creating tighter bonds with her children. She was a fixer and tried to do right by everyone as much as she could. Having a family meant everything to Kim and they knew she only ever wanted to love and be loved by others. Her one goal in life was to become a grandmother, which she very fortunately was able to accomplish. She always said "No one can give me grandchildren until I'm 50 years old." but luckily for her, she became a grandmother by 47. Kim always wanted to go skydiving, she found it thrilling, as she had previously been bungee jumping and zip lining in Las Vegas. She had dreams of starting her own Dog Kenneling Service because "Who wouldn't want to get paid to play with puppies all day", she would say. She was a very proud dog mom to her three dogs, Zeus (golden retriever), Izzy (Pitbul Lab mix), and Thor (Belgian malinois). She had a guilty pleasure for peanut m&m's, Diet Coke, The Game of Thrones, and Burger King breakfast. Kim had a very good sense of humor and was known to be sassy, that was one thing many people loved about her, along with her huge heart, stubbornness, and curly hair. Those qualities will always be remembered by her friends and family. They know she is finally living peacefully in Heaven and is no longer suffering. Everyday she will continue to be loved and missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace Kim.
