Kristen Marie Sandoval, age 35, of Las Cruces passed away December 9, 2021, surrounded by love. She was born September 23, 1986, in Las Cruces, NM to Ernest and Vivian Sandoval. A deep loss for the Sandoval and the Holguin family. She is survived by her parents Vivian and Ernest Sandoval. Daughter Julianna Sandoval. Son and husband Azriel and Antonio Holguin. Brother Steven Sandoval. Sister-in-law Jessica. Niece Roslyn. Extended family Kayla, Joel, Daniel, Adrianna, Jazel, and Zariah. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Matriarch of the family, Grandmother Rosela Romero age 95. Kristen was a dedicated mother. During the pandemic, she stayed home with her autistic son providing structure, routine, love, and compassion. She was a loving parent to both her children and would often help volunteer for school events, fundraisers, and her daughter's band events. Kristen was an amazing mother, who deeply loved her children and family, and always treated extended family as her own. Kristen was a wonderful and devoted mother who always found time to spend with her daughter, no matter the circumstances. She was well-known for always doing things for others and making sure that her family was taken care of before herself. She could be described as a social butterfly, and she enjoyed making new friends. Kristen loved being out and talking to others. Kristen had a talent for finding the positives in even the smallest of things and using them to make sure everyone around her was happy. Services are scheduled for 10 am, Saturday, January 29, 2022, at St. Albert the Great Newman Center located at 2615 South Solano Dr, Las Cruces, NM 88001.
