Lacy "Irene" McLendon, of Las Cruces, NM died Saturday December 9, 2006 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. She was born in Limestone County, Tx To Claude and Rosana Copley. Irene lived in Douglas Arizona for 64 years before moving to Las Cruces, NM where she resided at Good Samaritan Village. Lacy "Irene" McLendon, of Las Cruces, NM died Saturday December 9, 2006 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. She was born in Limestone County, Tx To Claude and Rosana Copley. Irene lived in Douglas Arizona for 64 years before moving to Las Cruces, NM where she resided at Good Samaritan Village. Irene was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that taught her family the true value of being a family. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by two sons; Bobbie Joe McLendon and wife Sandra of Yuma, AZ; Jimmy Don McLendon of Portal, AZ; and one daughter, Peggy Colwell of Las Cruces, NM. She is also survived her two brothers Edward and Homer Copley, three sisters Marie Hayes, Hazel Lummus, and Vera Lummas, and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
