Ladonna F. Lopez

LaDonna F. Lopez, 46 of Las Cruces, NM died Friday October 12, 2007 at La Posada Mesilla Valley Hospice. She was born August 1, 1961 in Raton, NM to Tom and Dorothy Ward. She was raised in Taos, NM before coming to Las Cruces to attend NMSU. LaDonna received her Accounting Degree from IBC, and then graduated real estate school. Greco Inc. and her caring and wonderful boss Phillip Philpou employed her for over 17 years. She enjoyed the time she spent and traveling with her daughter, and being there for grandson. LaDonna had a great love for her whole family and enjoyed having them all together. She was an amazing wife, loving mother, grandmother and a caring daughter. She will be truly missed by her two best friends, her dogs, Keelo and Chiquita. She is survived by her husband Oscar Lopez of the family home, one son, Luis Lopez, and one daughter, Laura Lopez all of Las Cruces, NM. She is also survived by her father Tom Ward; grandson, Luis Lopez Jr. and brother Mike Ward and wife Kathy and their children Matthew and Keanna Ward all of Las Cruces, NM; and mother-in-law Dolores Lopez of Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Ward. A memorial service will be held Wednesday October 17, 2007 at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. Burial of cremains will follow at Masonic Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Stan Yocom of the Church of the Nazarene.
