Lee Dingus, 74 of Las Cruces, NM went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 2, 2008. She was born October 1, 1933 in Iraan, Texas to Vivian and Ruby Walker. Lee lived most her life in Santa Fe, NM but recently moved to Las Cruces due to declining health. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Las Cruces and will be missed all who knew and loved her. Lee is survived by two daughters, Lori Fair and husband Richard of Colorado Springs, CO; and Julie Dingus of Las Cruces, NM. Also surviving Lee is a brother Kenneth Walker of Florida; two grandchildren, Steve Fair and wife, Miriam; Julianne Fair and two great grandchildren, Kate and Kaia Fair all of Colorado Springs, CO. Her husband James Dingus preceded her in death in 1988. At Lee's request, cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held in Santa Fe at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to CurePSP (The Society for Progressive Supranulear Palsy), Executive Plaza III, 11350 McCormick Road, Suite 906, Hunt Valley, MD 21031 or your favorite charity. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Ann Mercer, Dr. Mario Aguilar and her caregiver, Rosario Gomez and her family. PDF Printable Version
