Leo M. Pino, Las Cruces resident for the past 41 years passed away on Jan. 25, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center. Leo was born in Bosque, NM on Nov. 10, 1943 to Cristobal and Rosita Pino. Leo M. Pino, Las Cruces resident for the past 41 years passed away on Jan. 25, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center. Leo was born in Bosque, NM on Nov. 10, 1943 to Cristobal and Rosita Pino. Leo was retired from the City of Las Cruces after many years of service as the Gas Superintendent. Before his death, Leo was about to receive his certified pilot's license and earn his wings. He was a friend to all and enjoyed helping people with all their home and car needs. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Leo is survived by four loving children Rose Mary, Barbara, Leo, Cici, and their mother Cecilia. Leo's pride and joy were his grandchildren Susan 19, Christian 12, Erica 10, and Haley 3. He is also survived by six brothers Pete, Mike, Chris, Jake, Bill and Lorenzo and by his sister Mercedes. Other family members include sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families. His parents Cristobal, 1992, and Rosita Pino, 2003, preceded Leo in death. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Friday, Jan. 28, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7 PM. The funeral mass is at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Jan 29, 2005 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church in Belen, NM with Fr. Jerry Jackson officiating. Rite of Committal will follow at Bosque Catholic Cemetery in Bosque, NM. Pallbearers are Pedro, Chris, Mike, Jake, Bill, Lorenzo Pino and Pat Patterson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Rivera and Al Candelaria. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to any American Heart Association, 5901 E.
