He was in the military of the Army and was a soldier in the Korean War. His construction years began as an equipment operator working for various contractors, in New Mexico, and he soon began his professional journey with a construction business in the 4 corners area of New Mexico. Leon had several business across many years and eventually ended up in Las Cruces, where he retired from the construction business he had founded and worked with his sons to build over the past many years. Leon enjoyed being outside and working with his hands, and in his late 80's you could find him at the shop welding and working. He loved to work and stay busy and always offered a helping hand when needed. He was always there for anyone that needed him and would help in any way he could. Leon had a deep passion for all his animal friends. He always had a pet, or (good friend), as he would call them, with him. He enjoyed cattle and horses and the life he had in his younger years around the family ranch, and also working on other ranches and we always had great story's to listen too, about those years. He cherished the times he had when he was young with his dad, his brother and his Uncles John, Bill, and Al Frost and that group of local cowmen, ranchers, along with their families and friends. He was preceded in death by his Father -Ova Arst Morrow and Mother- Millie Frost Morrow, Brother -Lorin Lee Morrow, Sister- Josephine Embick, his Wife- Mildred Cole Morrow and Son- Johnny Calvin Morrow. Leon is survived by his Son Leo lee Morrow, (Faye) of Las Cruces- Daughter Leona Louise Taylor (Clint) of Silver City and his youngest Son Leonard Lat Morrow (Mary ) of Las Cruces .
