Lillian Lazur Sobczynski, passed away Tuesday Feb. 28, 2006 in Las Cruces, NM. She was born May 19, 1948 in Coaldale, PA to George and Frances Lazur. Lillian graduated from Tamaqua High School in 1966. She was an active member of St. Albert the Great Newman Center and Vice President of Sigma 4 Inc. of Las Cruces. Lillian Lazur Sobczynski, passed away Tuesday Feb. 28, 2006 in Las Cruces, NM. She was born May 19, 1948 in Coaldale, PA to George and Frances Lazur. Lillian graduated from Tamaqua High School in 1966. She was an active member of St. Albert the Great Newman Center and Vice President of Sigma 4 Inc. of Las Cruces. She was also a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and was a 2 year Past President of Soroptimist International of Las Cruces. Lillian was a very loving person who touched the lives of many, she will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 18 years Stanley Sobczynski and their son Lee both of the family home, sister Jean Haspe of Coaldale, PA and by brothers Stephen Lazur of McAdoo, PA and Daniel Lazur of Tamaqua, PA and by numerous other family and friends. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother George Lazur. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM on Sunday March 5, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7 PM. The funeral mass will be at 2:00 PM on Monday March 6, 2005 at St. Albert the Great Newman Center with Fr. Mitch Dowalgo officiating. Rite of Committal for Lillian's cremains will be held at a later date. Honorary Pallbearers are Stanley Sobczynski Sr., Stephen and Daniel Lazur, Jean Haspe, Donald E.
