Lois Ann (Teague) Clements, 65 of Vado, New Mexico went to be with her Lord in Heaven on Saturday September 24, 2011 after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was born on February 1, 1946 to Carl and Bertha Teague in Roswell, New Mexico. Lois retired from the Hondo Valley School System after being a contract school bus driver while living on a ranch in the Picacho area of the Hondo Valley for 37 years. She was of the Baptist faith and served her Lord by playing the piano for many years for the Tinnie Baptist Church as well as playing and singing with her husband at Temple Baptist Church. Lois was a member of the Southwest and Southeast Area Square and Round Dance Associations and an elected member of New Mexico Square and Round Dance Association Hall of Fame in 2006: Member of Circle 8's, CrossFires, "A"square dance groups in Las Cruces, NM, See Saws/Star Dusters, El Paso, TX, Alamo Squares, Alamogordo, NM. Sierra Blanca Swingers, Ruidoso, NM and Valley Swingers, Enchanted Squares, and Trivet Twirlers squaredance clubs in Roswell, NM. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Teddy Charles Clements of the family home; sons Chris Clements and wife Tammy of San Angelo, TX and Kerry Clements and wife Claudia of Vado, NM; grandchildren Amanda Bingham and husband Roland of Hobbs, NM, Shelby Moore and husband Rounder of Roswell, NM, Brittany Clements of San Angelo, TX, Abraham Clements and Kayla Clements both of Vado, NM; great-grandchildren Andrew and Rebecca Bingham both of Hobbs, NM; sister Reta Wright and husband Tommy of Roswell, NM and by many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and loving friends. To all Lois leaves a yellow rock. A Memorial Service Celebrating her Life will be Held at 2:00 pm Friday September 30, 2011 at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor's Max Perkins and Bill Jones officiating. The family would like to thank the Mesilla Valley hospice for all the help, comfort and care they gave Lois as caregivers during her last difficult months.
