Lori Barron, 50, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother and friend passed away peacefully Tuesday May 23, 2006 in Las Cruces, NM. She was born October 30, 1955 in Payson, Utah to William and Virginia D. Barron. Lori attended Mayfield High School and ENMU-R in Roswell, NM and pursued a rewarding career in nursing. Both in her personal life and her career, Lori touched many lives with her kindness and generosity. Her beautiful loving spirit will be deeply missed by those blessed with her love and friendship. Survivors include Lori's husband Bruce Harris of Las Cruces, NM, daughters Lauren Hope Harris of Lovington, NM; Stephanie Harris and Tina Jump of Sparks, NV; and Deanne Walsh and husband Dennis of Hanover, VA. She is also survived by her mother Virginia D. Barron of Las Cruces, NM, siblings Gus Barron and wife Jill of Roswell, NM, April Hatfield and husband John of Las Cruces, NM, Kerri Forshey and husband John of Roswell, NM, Rand Barron and wife Kay of Mineral Point, WI, Valli Barron of Las Cruces, NM grandson Dustin Harris of Lovington, NM Step-mother Scottie Barron Grassie of Dexter, NM, nieces and nephews, Connor, Kevin, Hannah, Ryan, Cassie, Sarah, Pamela, Shawn, Grant, Sommer, and Brett, and by six great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father William Kent Barron, Nephew Justin Nevarez and great niece Madeline wood. A visitation will be held at Getz Funeral home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Getz Funeral Home Monday May 29, 2006. Another visitation will be held from 9-11 AM in Roswell, NM at the Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home on Tuesday May 30, 2006 with a graveside service to follow at 11 AM at the South Park Cemetery in Roswell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lori's name to La Casa, 800 S. Walnut Las Cruces, NM 88001. Pallbearers will be Gus Barron, Robert Gibson, Willie Nunez, Steve Gonzales, and Bruce Harris.
